HOV is an audiovisual project from Wroclaw. An audiovisual collaboration between sonician Piotr Matkowski and visualist Jaga Slowinska, HOV take a “bricoleur” approach in their AV creations digging out samples from various ephemera and visual debris scattered all around the web coated in hazy, glofi music and to hypnagogic effect. “Sampling is a way of creation and construction, but it is also a sociological image of a confused society that is suffering from fear of a silence zone,” they claim in a characteristically dystopian vision of contemporary times. 

Their forthcoming EP should be out on 23 March 2012 (according to their website) and the first video COCO is a taster of how it might sound like.
