Two off-kilter illustrated videos by two of the most idiosyncratic Czech bands at the moment. I Love 69 Popgeju are art graduates from Moravia’s “Sheffield” – the industrial Ostrava which has a sprawling music and arts scene. The other video is by Čokovoko, also from Moravia. The girl duo is renowned for their witty existential texts infused by an obligatory ironic smirk. (such as: Štěstí mě míjí oklikou/ Hypotéku i prdel mám velikou—Luck evades me by miles/My mortgage and bum are large..)
