The Prague-based Sperm Festival is an annual showcase of electronic music. Since 2006 it has brought the likes of Dan Deacon or Mouse on Mars to the Czech Republic. This year, we are curating a Sunday slot at Sperm, so come by and say hello. We are also giving out 50 copies of our compilation 🙂 The programme will be focused on up-and-coming East European beatmakers and deepmakers 🙂 From Romania we’ll have Montgomery Clunk who releases on Error Broadcast and sprawling Russian collective Gimme5. His fresh electronic sounds draw from wonky, glitchhop, aquacrunk, 8bit and deep bass. Another fiend of all things deeps is the Polish producer PTR1 from the leading Polish bass imprint Concrete Cut. Expect deep hypnotic dub-tinged electronics that will make you dance and think. Last but not least is Break!Fast, a Slovakian DJ and a producer whose sets encompass a wide range of genres from wonky, uk funky and dubstep to juke, chicago house or witchhouse.
